Stephie...the upside down water bottles...how does that work. I have a garden here and would love to see if that works for me. Do you puncture holes in the bottle...? Help a sista out! :)
Joanna, No need to puncture any additional holes in the bottle (actually, we've thought about this, but the small holes just complicate things and clog up).
You just fill up that water bottle, dig a hole for it, or just slam it in the ground and it will dispense over time. The speed it dispenses depends on the how moist the soil is/thirsty the plant is (maybe a day, maybe 2 weeks). Let gravity work for you!
I'll be waiting for pictures of your African garden. :)
